Per my comment several weeks ago, I had trouble connecting at first, but things started working after I installed linux-backports-generic. I also use this laptop on the wireless network at work, but that's an unsecured guest network and I've had no trouble with it. -- [iwlagn] networkmanager applet cannot connect to WPA2 home network.
