Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
The Ubuntu packaged version of the release version of Firefox 3.5 still identifies itself as Shiretoko. I can understand that beta/rc versions would do this, but surely the final version should identify as Firefox 3.5? $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 $ apt-cache policy firefox-3.5 firefox-3.5: Installed: 3.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1 Candidate: 3.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1 Version table: *** 3.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty-updates/universe Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com jaunty-security/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3.5~b4~hg20090330r24021+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/universe Packages ** Affects: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Firefox 3.5 identifies as Shiretoko https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/396928 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
