I tried the kernel parameter too, and the first long call went flawlessly, since then however the problem returned and it is back to normal.. the sound dying after a few minutes of use. As with Kehan I am not that keen (and have limited time to research) the kernel update. If I get some time this weekend I will try swapping it out. Thanks for your suggestions.
