Hi,

don't get me wrong. But why isn't this issue patched on the current
stable release. I am sure there are thousands of people out there who
are angry because their Ubuntu does not shutdown properly. I wonder why
the "userfriendliest linux approach" is of no importance here. Sorry but
Ubuntu claims to be easy to use and instead of solving the issue with an
update people should find docs and hack their system to get backports?
Something is wrong in Ubuntus strategy.

I installed Ubuntu on my R61 because I had no time to compile Gentoo, I
regret it already ;-)
