Public bug reported:
I have RSSNOW in my panel and have told it to look at slashdot. It is
apparently fetching headlines from /. but the icon and the text RSSNOW
is over the top, obscuring the headlines.
Possible fixes:
1. Use icon+text when there is nothing else to display, otherwise
display the rss headline(s)
2. Provide an interface more like the notification or network manager
widgets - keep the icon but add status to indicate new headlines, with
popups providing further info
