Same here. I know there were some questions about architecture above, so
let me add my info: fresh install of Jaunty on amd64. This has been
widely reported in kubuntuforums.net, and is seriously affecting new
users, who need to be told to ignore the tool, or use the command line,
or other workarounds. We need to fix this ASAP.
