Could it possibly be the same bug, or at least related to https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?26742 ?
The fact that the backend crashes strongly suggests to me that it's not screen-profiles's/byobu's fault (though it may have generated the config that triggers the bug in screen). Even if screen-profiles's /usr/bin/screen wrapper does something a little screwy with spawning the "real" screen, that should not affect the forked background process. ** Bug watch added: GNU Savannah Bug Tracker #26742 http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?26742 ** Changed in: screen (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: screen (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => nicholas a. evans (nevans) -- screen freezes up, turns zombie (new in jaunty w/ screen-profiles) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/375625 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
