Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets
gweather-applet-2 becomes unable to update (automatically or manually) after a random, usually long period of normal behavior. Switching to a different city (and then immediately back to my own) under the Location tab in Weather Preferences makes the applet snap out of it, so to speak; the forecast and current conditions are updated instantly, and automatic updates proceed normally. Considering the fiddly nature of my workaround, I'm hoping there's an easy way to correct this minor bug. It's got to be one of the most commonly used applets, and it's always been my favorite.
