Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox 3.0.11 on Karmic Alpha 2, 2.6.30-10, Gnome 2.27.3 closes when a
flash video or audio is closed, regardless of how many windows and/or
tabs are open. It appears to be a forced close, as my preferences are
set to display 'Clear private data' prior to closing, and this does not
happen.

What I expected was for one window to close. What happened is that
Firefox closed, along with all other open windows.

It does not freeze or gray out as has been observed in other bugs.
Embedded media other than flash does not seem to be affected.
