Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet

When choosing the "Restart..." option, the computer doesn't restart, it
just performs a logout and the login screen is presented. This doesn't
happen just after a fresh boot, but I haven't found what caused the
wrong behaviour.

I'm using version 2.24.0 on Ubuntu Jaunty.
