I am using using ubuntu 9.04 64 bit ( not kubuntu) but I have an interesting observation.
With all the talk about nvidia drivers i managed to start the nvidia tool ( i have version 180 installed) and shortly after that I was having problems where the mouse button was non-responsive. I did notice that when I clicked on things within that application, the mouse was being properly recognized but I was not able to click on the close button. The interesting part is when I clicked on the system menu, it reset my menu selection within the nvidia app to the first item. The mouse cursor does move anywhere on the screen but it seems that the nvidia app ( or probably any application ) is not releasing the mouse, is still the only recipient of the interrupts or mouse click messages. After closing the nvidia app with alt-f4, then the mouse was able to be recognized by the system menu. -- Random Logitech Wireless Mouse Freeze (Kubuntu 9.04) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/374458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
