I too suffer from this problem, on a fresh install of 9.04 on a fairly bog-standard Dell (lspci -vvnn attached).
Francesco's solution seems for now to be helping, but not 100%. It's hard to find a set of steps that reproduce the corruption reliably, but it seems to occur only when opening new windows or switching workspaces. My most frequent symptom is corruption of the panels at top and bottom of the screen; application windows sometimes "fix" themselves when I open/close new windows in the same application. Judging from the style of the corruption I wonder if this may be a dupe of Bug #352344. ** Attachment added: "lspci -vvnn" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/28385364/lspci%20-vvnn -- [Q45] Display corruption on Intel chipset https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
