I can confirm this error. I think it derives from the fact that in the
/etc/kismet/kismet_ui.conf the variable soundplay is set to the
path=/usr/bin/play instead of /usr/bin/playsound . My Jaunty doesn't
even know the packet "play". I will try if a fresh kismet installation
with purge will fix that.
