Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Evolution 2.26.1, with ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope (9.04). ==================================== Please, compose this simple html source in your text editor and save it in your home <html> <head></head> <body> <img src="http://www.grix.it/immagini/newletter/newlsetter_claim_piccolo.gif"> </body> </html> Next, open Evolution and compose a new message addressed to yourself. Click on "Insert" menu and select "HTML File", then load the source html you've saved previously. Now, send the message. When the email you've sent is arrived in your incoming folder, you should see a little logo. This happens with other email client, but Evolution doesn't display anything. If you haven't set the "load images from internet" in the configuration panel, with CTRL-I you should load and see images. But this doesn't happens. This problems affect some other HTML message from other website, but seems the trouble happens only with GIF images. I think this is a bug. Thank you for your attention.
