Sorry for my slow response; I've been very busy... I have discovered that this bug not only concerns mp3 streams, but also normal mp3 files. Amarok seems to hang randomly when switching from one file to another by double-clicking on it. Try setting up a playlist and switch quickly between the songs by double-clicking on them and you will probably see what I mean.
