I have this same problem and so does EVERYBODY else that I know who's using Ubuntu 9.04. I haven't seen it stop any computers from booting but they all pause for a minute displaying "ACPI: expecting a [reference] package element, found type 0" I've installed it on numerous computers with a variety of different hardware and they all have this problem, it sucks because Jaunty would boot faster than previous versions if it wasn't getting hung up on this every time.
