Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Hi
After installing Ubuntu on this system from the alternate CD, I noticed
that gnome-panel didn't have any location configured in the clock
applet. However I had to pick a timezone during install and this
timezone was honored in the GNOME session.
I guess gnome-panel should create a location for the current timezone on
its first startup, and/or more information should be gathered by the
alternate installer.
Bye
