Public bug reported: The mixer track controlled by the volume control is wrong. By default it controls only the Master track, but on laptops this usually does not change the haedphone volume level. The correct default would to control both Master and Headphone if the card has a Headphone channel, and Master otherwise.
Expected behavior: the volume control can be used to control both the speaker and the headphone volume without tweaking. Actual behavior: the volume control only controls the speaker volume. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wrong default mixer track for volume control https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389106 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
