What I expected to happen
When playing a movie with dragonplayer, I expected the screensaver not to kick
in after some time and ask me for a password. However, when not watching a
movie, I would like the screensaver to start after some time and locking the
desktop (that's how I configured it in the screensaver configuration window).

What happened instead
While watching the movie, the screensaver started up and locked the screen.

[Kubuntu 8.10][KDE4.2.BETA2] Display locks automatic, when watching a movie ect

-> This bug is about the same subject, however, it has been marked as a
duplicate of bug #321165 (Dragonplayer should inhibit suspension when
playing a movie) that was marked with a "fix released". Reason given:
"This bug was fixed in the package kdemultimedia - 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1"

However, As of KDE 4.2.4 (installed via the ppa repositories) this is
still an issue for me.

-> Related but this bug is not about the screensaver starting up but
about the computer going into standby mode while watching a movie.
