I can't reproduce this on Jaunty with Thunderbird 2.0.0.21; I can send a mail to t...@%mydomain% which arrives there (thanks to catchall) - Does this bug still affect you? (btw. does gmx allow non ASCII characters?)
But there are still many problems with the idn support in thunderbird - I'm not sure if the will be fixed in tb3 (see e.g. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127399) ** Bug watch added: Mozilla Bugzilla #127399 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127399 ** Changed in: thunderbird (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- exotic characters in the email adress like "ü,ä,ö" are removed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/265016 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
