(Oh wait, this is an older bug.)  The symptoms are the same and it's on
the same hardware, so I guess I'll keep it.

Since upgrading to Jaunty the problem has reappeared.  Several other
users experience the same thing:

I am in Jaunty with the same Inspiron / Intel hardware, same Tomato
router (Version 1.25 in a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54).

It will work fine for hours, maybe even days, and then suddenly
disconnect and refuse to reconnect. Logging out and logging in doesn't
help, turning off wi-fi in hardware doesn't work.

nm-applet repeatedly tries to reconnect and nothing happens. The only
thing I can figure out is to reboot.
