Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I am running a fully updated Karmic and when I try to start Firefox, it tells me that "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." The problem is that when I do restart my system the problem persists. I have tested this on both kernel versions 2.6.30-9.10-generic and 2.6.28-11-generic and the problem is present in both of them. In order to report this bug, I had to set my prefered web browser to epiphany.
