This bug is very annoying. When I moved from Hardy to Jaunty, all my OpenOffice documents (written with Linux Libertine font) displayed using an alternate font (which looked awkward).
I then used the fontconfig trick as detailed here : http://www.mail- archive.com/debian-desk...@lists.debian.org/msg02086.html My documents now display ok. Unfortunately, I printed a document this morning directly from OpenOffice Writer, and the fonts printed using something else than Linux Libertine (although it showed as Linux Libertine in Writer). So somewhere in the CUPS system the alias I made in fontconfig is not being passed... or some other interaction I haven't figured out yet. Could this bug please be resolved? I believe it should be trivial to fix : revert the name to what is used to be. If I missed something, please let me know. -- incompatible font name change between 4.1.8 and Hardy LTS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318551 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
