Somebody stated that my ~50°C in powersave state is normal. It isn't :) I can subjectively feel that is is much more hotter than in Intrepid. I'll do some tests with Interpid or Fedora which I'm going to switch this week. I'll post it here.
Michael Brooks thinks that fans aren't working enough. It seems racial, however it is not as obvious because some people also stated that their battery life (I don't mean permanent capacity now) has decreased. And if the fans work more, it decreases it even more. But maybe the heat is decreasing the battery life as well. Regarding the permanent capacity, I had 52 Wh, now I have 42 Wh :( The heat really decreases the permanent (factory) capacity. It damages our hardware unfortunately :( -- Ubuntu 9.04 laptop overheat and shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/370173 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
