Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hotkeys
I am using Ubuntu 9.04 on my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pi 2530 notebook. I expected that when I press the buttons "fn" and F3/F4/F5 that the volume is muted/lowered/raised. Instead of this the triggered function is repeated endlessly, so that a normal utilisation of the computer becomes impossible. I changed the keyboard combination to "Ctrl" + F3/F4/F5 and this works without a problem. The other hotkeys like the activation of the web cam ("fn"+F7) work as well. Only the audio control makes problems. Here are the information of the package "hotkeys" (unfortunately they are in German): apt-cache policy hotkeys hotkeys: Installiert: 0.5.7.4-0.1ubuntu1 Kandidat: 0.5.7.4-0.1ubuntu1 Versions-Tabelle: *** 0.5.7.4-0.1ubuntu1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: hotkeys (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amilo audio fujitsu hotkeys siemens volume -- Hotkeys for audio/volume control do not work properly (Fujitsu Amilo Pi 2530) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/387533 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
