The code in question has been replaced by completely different code which uses libhal now instead of libsysfs. I suggest closing the bug as obsoleted by libchipcard 4.2.8-1ubuntu1.
As far I can see this bug can only occur under very rare conditions. So I'm unable to reproduce it. However, if really needed the appended patch might be used to fix the occurred segmentation fault. It skips a code block if an error occurred when fetching sysfs device attributes. ** Attachment added: "Bugfix for LP: #286115" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27959636/LP_bugfix_286115.patch -- chipcardd4 crashed with SIGSEGV in dlist_start() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286115 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
