We used to do IRC for remote participation... I just packaged and uploaded Bibledit 3.7.42 to the Crosswire packaging Team PPA http://launchpad.net/~pkgcrosswire/+archive/ppa for Ubuntu Intrepid, Jaunty and Karmic. This has the fix for installation issues when you install bibledit-data before bibledit and have the older bibledit 2.x package installed. My Bibledit 3.7.42 package does not build on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 at all at the moment, because it needs libwebkit-dev, I'll probably ask Teus about that. I'll also try to get 3.7.42 accepted into Debian this week.
