This has been confirmed with Ubuntu Jaunty, Kubuntu Jaunty and Kubuntu
Karmic A2 on multiple machines and multiple HP televisions. Every boot
the resolution is set to 1080p, regardless of the resolution set by the
user. Entering the display properties in Kubuntu immediately corrects
the problem without having to actually adjust any settings.
