I don't see files with null bytes in python-gst0.10; please have a look
at these files (dpkg -L python-gst0.10) and see if they do contain null
bytes (this may happen if you didn't shutdown your machine cleanly);
after that, please reinstall the package (apt-get --reinstall install
python-gst0.10) and recheck.
