Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kino
Edgy on amd64 Intel G965 integrated graphics (i810 driver) kino 0.90-1ubuntu2 When viewing 16:9 video the image is squashed into a 4:3 area within the correct 16:9 area, with junk at right hand side of area, when displayed at 50%. At 100% and maximum size image is squashed and shifted left of centre within the black area. (NB the same package on i386 with nVidia MX400 (nv driver) does not display the problem.) Building 0.9.5 from the upstream tarball fixes the problem. It would be useful to have this version in feisty and edgy-backports, pretty please. ** Affects: kino (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- 16:9 display geometry wrong https://launchpad.net/bugs/81142 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
