OK, this is what I did: 1.) I disabled the following three settings of nvidia-settings and wrote the result into a new xorg.conf. X Server XVideo Settings -> Video Texture Adaptor -> Sync to VBlank X Server XVideo Settings -> Video Blitter Adaptor -> Sync to VBlank OpenGL Settings -> Performance -> Sync to VBlank
2.) I added the following two options to the Device Section and saved the modified file into xorg.conf. Option "NoLogo" "True" Option "UseEvents" "True" 3.) I disabled the Use OpenGL vsync option in mythtv. I will give feedback soon. ** Attachment added: "my new xorg.conf" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27538499/xorg.conf -- livetv freezes randomly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310178 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
