No sound on my ThinkPad Z60m. Had no problem in Hardy, Gutsy, Intrepid, but now -- right after my "upgrade", I get this:
$ cat /proc/asound/cards --- no soundcards --- Trust me, there is an HDA Intel soundcard. In fact, they were seen (but not heard) until this morning, when KDE said they had disappeared, and Did I want to delete them from memory? Now all I have in Volume Control is Pulse Audio. And they wonder why Ubuntu is less popular than Windows. -- [Jaunty] HDA-Intel - no sound https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316125 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
