Public bug reported: Almost every time I view running processes using top, I see pulseaudio using CPU and memory (sometimes as much as 10% CPU, but usually less than 1% memory.)
This is the case whether or not I'm playing sound. Surely it shouldn't be doing anything when no sound is being output? ** Affects: pulseaudio Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: pulseaudio Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Pulseaudio uses resources when not playing sound https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/383621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
