Dear Peter, I'm now running an amd64 kernel with the latest beta from Adobe, and it runs just fine. I suggest eveyone running the 64bits wrapper to change ASAP to the new ".so" beta. It was already been discussed "ad nauseaum" in launchpad threads about flash plugin wrapper.
