Hi there - I'm a new user. I've got the desktop-switcher problem too! I have a Acer Aspire One running Ubuntu's Netbook Remix. (I have tried several lots of instructions from above but am a little confused at this point as things are only half working for me.)
Are there step by step instructions at this point for newbies in how to revert to working classic desktop?
