Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
karmic updated as of today, activate KMS according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/KernelModeSetting. cursor is invisible(!) which is a real bear to try to run ubuntu-bug -p xorg, or do much of anything else. I don't seem to be able to find the /var/crash report from ubuntu-bug even though I entered "K" to keep it according to the message. Attached are version, lspci -vvnn, Xorg.0.log Xorg.0.log from KMS with i915 modeset=1 invisible cursor for comparison, Xorg.0.log with i915 modeset=0 Do note differences in the way the cursor is set up. Anything else? Reproduces at will.
