Hi,

I confirm the same problem with a:

HP Pavilion dv2225nr (Turion X2 - 4GB - Nvidia 6100go)

I tried to look logs but found nothing that really helps. In fact, I
found it happening since kernel upgrade (I think to 2.6.28). My system
now is:

Linux bisonho 2.6.28-12-generic #43-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 1 19:31:32 UTC
2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The problem stills happen every few hours of usage with Broadcom
(wireless) active. If I turn it off and use cable I could not see the
freeze with caps lock blink.

Finally, I found some strange messages that I don't know if could be
related or not:

ACPI: EC: GPE storm detected, transactions will use polling mode
ACPI: EC: missing confirmations, switch off interrupt mode.
Clocksource tsc unstable (delta = -229258127 ns)
and
CE: hpet increasing min_delta_ns to 15000 nsec

I can't remember these messages before upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 to
Ubuntu 9.04. In fact, I think these messages came with new kernel.

Regards,
Benito
