running latest updates in Jaunty 9.04 and the Internal mic still doesn't work. ALSA version is 1.0.18. In Volume Control > Preferences I checked all available boxes... Watching the level monitor in Sound Recorder shows a very slight increase in white noise when you turn up the Internal Mic, nothing from other mic switches. I have also tried with both IEC options enabled and disabled.
