I second that this package needs to be synced as it could directly affect one of Mark Shuttleworth's bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1). Along with RAW converters, accurate color profiling is one of the essential tools for photographers (in that sense, GIMP's lack of 16-bit editing functionality is also a bug).
