Public bug reported: On a Lenovo W500, issuing a Suspend command seems to work OK until it comes time to resume. Then all I get is a blank black screen with a mouse pointer. The pointer is moveable but nothing else seems to do anything. The screen remains black with no decoration. The only way to recover is to hard-reboot the machine (hold down the power button until it switches off and then restart it normally).
This is an important feature that doesn't work (like Guest Session, which also hangs the laptop). Please remove them if they can't be made to work reliably across different machines. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 I do not know what package this is associated with, sorry. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Suspend does not resume properly on a Lenovo W500 with Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382005 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
