Public bug reported: Hello
I have been using the new distribution of Ubuntu 9.04 and When I have installed the proprietary drivers (NVIDIA Accelerated Drivers Version 96) and I have rebooted the Title bar on the windows has disappeared and the icons on the top and bottom panels are randomised and put in different places like for instance on the bottom panel the bin I con is moved to the middle of the panel and the top panel Icons such as sound and Network connectivity are all in random places on the panels! I hope you can release an update to fix these problems as it has caused me to Reformat my PC hard drive and Iv been forced to use the older version of Ubuntu (8.04) or the new 9.10 Alpha 1 Release as I cannot work with Ubuntu 9.04 with this bug because I cant close windows or minimize them or do anything at all the only way I can close then is to right click on the Window Name on the bottom panel then Click Close! Please Consider this as I feel it is an Important issue that needs to be addressed! ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 9.04 display problem ubuntu ** Tags added: 9.04 display problem ubuntu -- NVIDIA GeForce 3 Ti200 Drivers cause title bar to disappear and icons in panels are randomised! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381962 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
