I dont think it is a duplicate of Bug #232172.

This bug can be fixed in this way.

su...@h3x:~$ sudo vim /etc/network/interfaces

Then change the file so that instead of

iface eth0 inet manual

The line contains

iface eth0 inet dhcp

Then save and exit. The problem should be fixed now.
