I can confirm exactly the same behaviour on the eeepc 1000. There are various other reports of the same thing and I cannot find details of a fix or workaround. This includes randomly working for some single partition devices but only very rarely.
This worked perfectly in previous releases of netbook-launcher so I fail to see what could be going on here. Why is nautilus able to correctly recognise a mounted device but not the launcher? Are they both looking at the same place for their information? And why the brief flash of the icon when "uncleanly pulling" a device? While not a critical bug, this is an annoyance and dangerous if you forget to check in nautilus if the device is still mounted before pulling it. If anyone can suggest a workaround? (I would even revert to the previous hardy or intrepid version of the launcher if that would work.) -- [jaunty UNR] Mount indicator missing on remix desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366669 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
