Thanks for your reply danwood76. But, if the original bug was "fixed and cleared", why do some people still report the exact same problem? As I mentioned in my post on 2009-05-05, the symptoms still exist for me with an updated Jaunty, and I had to do the manual hack to fix it.
It doesn't really make sense to report a new bug, when we might be better off to re-open this existing bug report and determine the problem for those who still experience issues, no?
