** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic

  I upgraded my iMac 17" (Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2,0 GHz) from 8.10 to
9.04. The new kernel 2.6.28-11-generic crashes at startup.

I reverted to 2.6.27-9-generic which runs fine.

See attached photo of the crash, which reproduces every time I try to
  boot 2.6.28-11-generic

+ Output of `uname -a`: not possible as I cannot boot. I used the default image
that is in linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic.
+ Currently running kernel (uname -a): Linux mactel 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu
Nov 20 21:57:00 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
+
+ See attached log files.
+
+
  regards
  Adriaan
