My notebook starts booting, gets off, and starts after a few seconds again. I
got this error with other versions of Ubuntu, too. But not with Vista.
Perhaps a acpi-fix can be done?
I did the following:
# install ''iasl''
# read with "sudo cat /proc/acpi/dsdt > dsdt.dat"
# disassemble with "iasl -d dsdt.dat"
# compile with: "iasl -sa dsdt.dsl" (at this step errors/warnings will be
reported)
