Public bug reported: Binary package hint: orage
This is automatically reported from first boot after "expert" install, before update has had any chance to run, from xubuntu alternate i386 CD, I've reinstalled from scratch to get a fresh new fdisk. Almost all choices are default, only notable exception I remember now is vga=791 added to the CD boot arguments, "Direct" instead of CUPS somewhere in a printer config and se.archive.ubuntu.com configured for FTP package download. xubuntu jaunty, Dell Inspiron 4000 700MHz 512MB 120GB. If this doesn't go away after package update I'll post a dmesg, otherwise I'll close it. This is actually Xubuntu, I believe (I might be fooled though, see above): $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 ProblemType: Package Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 ErrorMessage: cannot access archive: Input/output error Package: orage 4.6.0-1ubuntu1 SourcePackage: orage Title: package orage 4.6.0-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: cannot access archive: Input/output error Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686 ** Affects: orage (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-package i386 -- package orage 4.6.0-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: cannot access archive: Input/output error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379658 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
