Public bug reported:

With Ubuntu Jaunty i386 (fully updated using
http://pastebin.ca/1431792), b43legacy kernel driver generates about
5-15% of packet loss when testing the connection. (pinging the wifi AP).

I tried the Karmic kernel (Linux 2.6.30-5-generic). Using it, the wifi
connection is very good, fast, stable, no packet loss. When using
b43/b43legacy it is very important to use the latest version available
in the mainstream kernel tree, so I recommend backporting it from
Karmic.

WiFi device: 04:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306
802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
