Well, yesterday I reassign via System->Favorite->Shortcut Keyboard tke key predifined to e-mail (I use only web mails) to open CD tray (I have no button on my computer). You have actions Sound->Volume Down and Sound->Volume Up. By selecting the row and typing the key you want, you can assign the used key to the intended action.
But prehaps, I have not understood your problem. (sorry for the labels, but as a french, I have to guess the english menu entries) As I understood, Ubuntu does not assign the good virtual XF86 keys to the physical keys. -- Sound control buttons work wrong in HP Pavilion tx2100 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/377440 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
