Hi Sven-Ola, if you still experience the problem and is interested in a solution, I think you should try building the latest upstream kernel yourself, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/GitKernelBuild. Provided the problem still exists I think you should report the problem upstream, since it seems unlikely that Ubuntu is going to move away from CONFIG_DEBUG_RODATA.
